My Heart & Homecoming

So let me just take a second to brag on these two beautiful women in this picture. I am so lucky to be able to call them family. The one on the left is my amazingly beautiful sister Krystle MacIsaac. And the one on the right is my niece KayLynn MacIsaac. This was the night of her homecoming dance. And y'all. Doesn't she look stunning. Now guys out there she is only 15 and her dad is a total bad ass so don't even think about it. Not to mention her uncle is my husband who happens to be a cop. Just saying.

I was so fortunate to be a part of the wonderful night in KayLynn's life. Do all you older folks out there remember that time in your life. School dances. Ladies do you remember the getting ready with all your bestie's. Blaring music so loud that your parents almost knocked your door down yelling for you to turn it down. I remember it just like it was yesterday. Those are times you forever cherish and never forget.

This was her dress. She ordered it off Amazon! Y'all this dress was so beautiful and fit her perfectly. It looked like it was made for her.

Hair & Make-Up: She did all her own stuff. I tell you what this girl has a future in make-up design. I am working on convincing her to do some hair and make-up tutorials with me because she is amazing. I wish I would have been at her level at 15. I was no where close and had honestly no idea what I was doing.

She used a Conair 1 in wand for her curls. It is the wand that tapers off at the end by getting smaller. This is what allowed her to have the loose curls at the top and tight curls towards her ends.

Her make up was bought from Sephora and Ulta and she uses the Naked brand products.

Absolutely gorgeous. She doesn't need any make-up at all to be beautiful but it definitely intensified her level of beauty.

Once again this family is absolutely amazing and so kind to let me be a part of this memorable night. Krystle and I aren't related by blood but by choice. I consider myself very lucky to be surrounded by such a phenomenal family filled with love and kindness. And a little bit of craziness. But hey no one's perfect right? ;)
